Mike grew up in Odessa, Texas and was converted to Christ in 1981, just before graduating from High School. Almost immediately, Mike felt God’s call to devote his life to teaching and preaching. Upon graduating from Lubbock Christian College, Mike served as a youth minister in two churches before beginning his preaching ministry career. He later graduated from Abilene Christian with a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies.
Mike and his wife Laura were married in 1991, and have one daughter, Tiffany, whom they have been blessed with.
Mike and Laura have served churches in Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Kentucky and Alabama. Mike and Laura have been at the Landmark church since 2013, and have seen God bless this church tremendously.
Mike’s passion is helping people discover the truth of God’s Word and helping them apply it to their everyday life so they can grow and be what God purposed for them to be. There is no greater blessing than to be able to help people discover God’s will for their life and live it out each day.
