Mike grew up in Odessa, Texas and was converted to Christ in 1981, just before graduating from High School. Almost immediately, Mike felt God’s call to devote his life to teaching and preaching. Upon graduating from Lubbock Christian College, Mike served as a youth minister in two churches before beginning his preaching ministry career. Mike and his wife, Gwynda, were married in 1958. They have two grown children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They have been members of this congregation since 2008 and Mike has served as an elder since 2010.

Chip and his wife, LuJan, were married in 1973. They have one grown daughter, Suzanne. Chip is a founding member of Landmark since 2004 and has served as a deacon since 2016. On December 8th, 2019 Chip joined our 5 original Elders to assist in Shepherding GOD’s flock at Landmark.

Steve and his wife, Patti, were married in 1982. They have two grown children, John and Jennifer. They have been Christians since 1974 and Steve has served as an elder since 2012.

David and his wife, Tammy, were married in 1993. They have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. They have been members of this congregation since 2004, and David has served as a deacon since 2013. On December 8th, 2019 David joined our 5 original Elders to assist in Shepherding GOD’s flock at Landmark.

Joe Priest
Joe and his wife, Eloise, were married in 1948. They have four grown children, 2 boys and 2 girls with the two youngest (boy and girl) being twins. They have eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Joe is one of the 30+ charter members of the Landmark church of Christ that started in 2004. Joe has served as an elder since 2010.

Robert and his wife, Lisa, were married in 1984. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. They have been members of this congregation since 2005 and Robert has served as a deacon since 2013. Scott and his wife, Darlene have been married since 1985. They have two grown children and seven grandchildren. They have been members at Landmark since 2016. Scott has served as a shepherd at Landmark since April 2024.
